SUMMARY:SUKARI PRESBYTERIAN SCHOOL DOMINATES IN THE KASARANI CLUSTER PRIVATE SCHOOLS BALL GAMES
DESCRIPTION:       Sukari Presbyterian school was privileged to host the Kasarani cluster ball games for private schools on 15th of June 2024. The tournament was very successful with 25 schools taking part in soccer girls\, soccer boys junior\, soccer senior boys and netball girls. The tournament brought together about 800 learners from those schools.\n     The host proved to the visitors that the school is full of talents by silencing all the teams in pool A to finish at the top of the group for soccer senior boys. Sukari started by beating St. Getrude school 4 – 0 before beating St. James 3 – 0. The team continued the campaign by beating Home Candles school 2 -0 before finishing its matches by a 3 -0 win over Providence school. The team will be Advancing to the finals at Thika Road Christian School on 6th June 2024.\n       On the other hand\, the girls’ soccer team was not left behind. The team finished at the top of group D after beating Kasarani Junior 2 -0 before drawing with Daisy school and KBA. The team qualified for the quarter finals that will take place on 6th of July 2024 at Thika Road Christian school.\n     Our Soccer junior also started well by beating the Tubbies school 5 -0 before being held into a 1-1 draw by KBA School. The junior boys were further held to goalless draws in their last 2 matches against Nyawai school and St. Andrews. The team finished in the third position with 6 points hence failing to secure a chance into the finals.\n       The school is proud of qualifying for finals in four disciplines that is soccer senior boys\, soccer girls and basketball for both boys and girls. The finals are slated for 6th July 2024 at Thika Road Christian Academy.

DESCRIPTION:At Sukari Parish\, the woman’s Guild had a very successful week from 26th May 2024 – 2nd June 2024 in our church\nThe following activities were successful under taken.\nOn Monday 26th May 2024\nThe woman’s guild did the morning devotion in Kirk TV which was aired live. \nIn the evening from 7.30Pm -9.00PM. Reverend Dr.  J.C. Kamau did the launch which was well attended. \nOn Tuesday 27th May 2024\nThey did an outreach mission to the Bodaboda riders breakfast with a message from our youth pastor Kuria Maina and one man got saved\, Fifty one  Men were in attendance We give all the glory and honour to God. \nOn Wednesday 28th May 2024\nThe woman’s Guild did a health talk in the members respective districts which was very successful. \nOn Thursday 29th May 2027\nThey visited all the elderly and Children with special needs within our districts  with the Consent from the parents which was very successful and well done because they were able to visit thirty six  needy cases within our community. \nOn Friday 30th May 2024\nThey had a very successful dinner with a message which was co-hosted with the JPRC and there was a talk on land and property transactions by John Wambugu. \nOn Saturday 1st June 2024\nThey participated in the wedding for one of their members son which was well attended. \nOn Sunday 2nd June 2024\nThey did all the activities in church and had a very successful week.
