But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.
Everything that we have is not from ourselves, but from God. Through out His Word we see Him expressing His personality of giving towards His people; its so amazing how He even binds Himself to provide to the unrighteous in their rebellion. The pinnacle of His giving being His only begotten Son that we may be redeemed from the jaws of death.
Learning from this, at PCEA Kahawa Sukari we take up giving as a mandate that God has left us to carry on from His personality.
Your giving goes into ensuring that the house of God does not lack. We ensure that the various ministries run smoothly and have all that they need. In addition to this, we continue the work of Jesus Christ, going out to preach the Gospel and attending to the needs of our neighbours both near and far.
