About
The Missions & Evangelism Team’s role is to encourage and strengthen the proclamation of the historical biblical Christ as Savior and Lord throughout PCEA’s jurisdiction and beyond with a view to persuading people to come to Him personally and to be reconciled to God. We take initiative in organizing evangelistic rallies or conventions in consultation with Parish Session.
Feeding Program
We have a feeding program for the need of the neediest within and without. In church we have a reserve for any walk -ins. We however support the feeding of three children homes around, a rehabilitation center in Ruiru, Githogoro, Korogocho and Mathare Slums. We have also partnered with the Parliament Police Station in feeding Street Families at Uhuru Park.
The Mission Team is exploring more mission areas to reach out to. We look forward to more partnerships and participation in reaching out to the needy with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Prison Missions
This is at Kin’gon’go Prison in Nyeri, Nairobi West and Maranjau prison. In these prisons, we have supported each prisoner with personal effects and in addition launched a discipleship program where we sponsored a hundred inmates in every prison.
Door to Door
We have partnered with various Churches in conducting door to door evangelism in various places. Among those include; Muranga Parish, Kangema Nendeni Area, Githunguri Parish and Mbooni Nendeni area.
